Rikoshé is a hair design studio located in Lokhandwala, Andheri west, founded by Rikhil Asrani in 2014.

Prior to founding Rikoshé, Rikhil has worked with leading names across the country. He was an educator for the L’Oreal Hair Academy and the Creative Head of the Enrich Salon chain.

Rikhil has performed masterclasses on the most prominent hair stages and been featured by several hair and beauty magazine in the country. He has designed looks for several films and web series’.

Over the years, Rikhil has developed a unique approach to hair design, backed by science. One that highlights the natural beauty of each client by crating personalised styles that enhance their proportions. Rikoshé has been created to make his methodology accessible to everyone. Rikoshé Salon

We have designed our salon to be warm, inviting and personalised. Contrary to most commercial salons that try to maximise the billing of a client, our intention is sacred - to bring out the best in your face and make you feel great. This is hairdressing at its purest.

Beauty is all about proportions and changing your hair design is the simplest way to alter the proportions of your face. To do this we use The Rikhil Asrani Method; a scientific approach to hairdressing that was developed by him over almost two decades, and 20,000 haircuts. We use the golden ratio, a universal blueprint for beauty, in our hair designs, giving them a scientific edge.

What do you learn at the RA academy?

The Rikhil Asrani Method - A unique and effective approach to hairdressing, developed over almost two decades and 20,000 haircuts.

It uses the Morph Matrix during consultation to determine the best hair length and style for the cli-ent, depending on their personal preference, personality and body type; and combines that with ap-plying the Golden Ratio to determine the right hair shapes and colours to bring out the best propor-tions in the client’s face.

You eventually learn how to combine aesthetics with mathematics to create tailor made, super hit haircuts, colours and styles. This gives you the best platform to become the master of your skill. Ultimately, unlike other methods of hairdressing, R.A.M (The Rikhil Asrani Method) enables you to create unique looks for each client.

    The course objective:

    The student learns the RA Method from scratch. Over the course of 6 months, aspiring stylists learn the building blocks of hairdressing.

    To be enrolled in this course, one has to first be proficient in the basics of the RA Method / Trained in basic hairdressing and 3+ years of work experience in the field.

    The course objective:

    Once you have mastered the basics, it’s time to go pro! This level will teach the student advanced nuances of the ‘RA method’, reserved for the masters of skill. This level is for one who truly loves the art, has the right vision and the skill-set to prove it.

Films

We are a filmmaker's best bet when it comes to styling their characters.

  • We always read the script before the shoot and understand the character sketch. This will be the breeziest look test ever. The hairstyles are designed keeping little nuances of the character in mind.
  • It's part of our standard operating procedure to keep track of the characters’ look in each shot and ensure that it's repeated as is, when continuity is called for.

The script and continuity supervisor will thank you for getting us on board.
